More about me

I am a retired divorced lady who is a transplant from New York to Ormond Beach, Florida. I left my whole family up north and didn't know a soul when I moved here but quickly made friends and now can't find enough hours in the day.   I feel my move to Florida was the best thing in the world for me and the almost three years I have been here have been the happiest in my life.  I volunteer as an Ambassador at our local airport (Daytona Beach) and am also a volunteer at Ormond Memorial Hospital, where my duties include visiting those patients who have few or no visitors.  I have a wide circle of friends in our community and started a singles group here which is very active.  I love to read, am studying Spanish and try to exercise on a daily basis (although I take weekends off).  I have four children and eight grandchildren and visit the north at least once a year to see them.
