PROFILEPOUNDER.COM I was born in NJ, moved at 13 to Catskill, NY, where I grew up. Then at 20 moved to Birdsnest, VA then to Athens, NY, then back to Catskill. I have vacationed in Canada, Alaska, Hawaii, New Jersey, California, Nevada, Florida, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and the Bahamas and probably a few more that I can't remember right now. And now I live with my husband, mother and son in Schenectady, NY where my husband was brought up in a big family. Most of his family are still here. And it's nice to have a big family since I was an only child!!

 Let's see.... I retired disabled (back problems) in the January, 2005. My husband and I got married in December of that year. I have one son ~ now 23 He, as well as my 84 year old mom, and our 2 year old shih-tzu, Lola, live with us in our four square 1920's house in Schenectady, NY.  But after all is said and done,

  Good, bad or indifferent....

Some days I feel old, some days I can't believe I am this old! But, thinking about the alternative, guess I'll take old!! My Pet Peeves: I don't like people that take advantage of others. I believe in fairness for EVERY ONE, KARMA, and what goes around comes back around.  
And I HATE BULLIES!
Outside of that, I am just me! I'm a wife, mother, step-mother, daughter and friend. And I make a much better friend than I do an enemy!! lol  My family and friends are very important to me!  

 

 

Activities

I am interested in so many things! Traveling camping; art - painting, sculpture, music, dance, theater, etc.; trying to get my house more "green"; but, mostly my interests lie in family and friends! I love my family and the family I've joined by marrying my husband. They are incredible!

Rock, pop, rap, classic, reggae, some jazz, some country, etc. Bon Jovi, Dave Matthews Band, The Doors, The Beatles, Avril Lavigne, Billy Joel, Elton John, Chicago, Janice Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Bread, Doobie Bros., Carrie Underwood, Kid Rock, Santana, Pink, Ferge, Nickelback, Coldplay, Pussy Cat Dolls, Alabama, Lionel Richie, Roger Miller, Rascal Flats, Edwin McCain, The Blue Man Group, Shakira, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Soulja Boy, etc. Yeah, eclectic taste!!

Dexter is my favorite!! Also, Californication, CSI - all of them, Kitchen Nightmares, Hell's Kitchen, Ugly Betty, Big Brother especially 8, Lost, Deadliest Catch, Without a Trace, Ghost Whisperer, Medium, Law and Order, South Park, Family Guy, Mythbusters, Numbers, Women's Murder Club, Trading Spaces, Supernanny, How did they do that?, Modern Marvels, Forensic Files, Suze Orman, Dane Cook and more.
