One of the most significant places I have been to was to amke haj to the kaaba in mMecca two times, and to make a visit(Umrah) to Mecca and Medina six more times, including one brief visit during the holy month of Ramazan. I drove and slept in the parking lot with my car. A hotel during haj is mostly a foretaste of hell. As for the sacred haj, pilgrimage, no one can tell you what that is like. It isn't like anything. It definitely does not count as a holiday, or vacation... We now have a struggling B&B in Pamukkale, Turkey...~come and visit.
