I came from the Philippines in 1994. I am a single mother. My daughter just moved out. Time for her to find out how it is like out there. I enjoy my solitude most but there are times when I miss her and our everyday squabbles - that is the most missed part. Being alone is not being lonely. I may be alone but I don't consider myself lonely. I rent a movie, watch my favorite tv show or just go out for walks or listen to my favorite music or catch up on my reading. Or I am on my computer exploring the world of eons. I am reserved with a dry sense of humor. My co-workers say I am blunt and straightforward. But deep inside I am caring, friendly, trustworthy and loyal. To me a few true and tried friends are worth having than ten passing by acquaintances.

I love going to thrift stores and garage sales. I am not an avid book reader but I like reading books on history and religion. I like learning about other cultures.
