History

Places I've been
Born in Lynwood, Los Angeles County, California (Hometown), I have lived in So Cal most of my life. I did live in beautiful Colorado for 5 years and really liked it. All except the last winter I was there. It was a cold one -- I had one huge icicle that went from the eave of my house all the way to the ground. When I was young, we used to spend every summer in Baja at my uncles cabin south of Rosarito Beach. At that time the only thing there was the hotel and a bakery.

About Me

Do you realize how hard it is to talk about myself?  Almost feels like bragging, and we all know how we feel about braggers.

I was born and raised in the Los Angeles area.  Lived in a small town in Colorado for 5 years.  The whole county population was 20,000 in the 1980 Census.  I know because I went door to door counting heads.  I'm sure it's much more now since they built a federal prison in the next town over.

I love animals.  They always love you no matter how bad a hair day you're having, how bad your morning breath is, or if you missed your Saturday nite bath.  I share my home with rescued dogs and am crazy about them.

I married, had kids, divorced.  You know, the customary events we're taught to do to make our life complete.

I was in a couple of motorcycle accidents which messed up my back and neck pretty good.  I also cracked the cement with my head in both accidents and sometimes have trouble remembering.  So I am retired/disabled living on my Social Security.  Not too bad -- I do manage to afford a load of laundry and a metro bus ride each month.

I have been building my family tree and learned that what I grew up believing is not all true.  I have met several "cousins" and we keep in touch via e-mail.

My aunt had a saying, "There's a lot of in-laws in the family, and just as many outlaws."  You wouldn't believe some of the outlaws on my tree:  Pretty Boy Floyd, Pres. George Walker Bush, and Butch Cassidy to name a few.
