History
Places I've been
Riverside, CA (Hometown), Spent most of my growing up years in Sacramento, CA. Moved to Seattle when I was 28. Moved back to California to live in San Francisco for two years in '98, but then headed back to Seattle where I've been since.
Except for Mexico, Costa Rica, and parts of Canada, all the traveling I've done has been within the United States. I'd like to change that, but I also love seeing the US.

About me
I'm a laughing curmudgeon who is drawn to bright colors and dark corners. There is a good chance I'm drinking coffee right now. I wish I didn't know as much then as I don't know now, I'd probably have paid more attention. Our teenage son has two Dads. I like my movies on the depressing side and I rarely care about things like a plot. Food should be spicy. I value kindness above all else. Dog kisses make everything all right.

Mutts and forest creatures. I'm more impressed if your dog came from a shelter than if it came with papers. I'm a bit obsessed with wolves, although you probably know more about them than I do. I think moose lamps are the coolest thing since brie and I'm easily seduced by log cabin images of nature, but I try to keep a realistic view of all living things.
