Pardon me while I reminisce. I was born on a warm and sunny day way back in September of 1956 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Milwaukee. I remember it like it was yesterday, mean old nurse holding me upside down by my feet and swatting my behind. Is that any way to welcome you into the world? Well, I smacked her back even though she was 5 X's my size and she put me with the other abused babies. She told told the other nurses to "leave this one alone". They could tell right away, I was "bad to the bone". Well, I survived that trauma and grew up on the northwest side of Milwaukee. It was a very nice neighborhood at that time and I have many fond memories growing up there. To be continued...

51 year young widower (5 years) with a wide variety of hobbies and interests. Was never a member of the "Rat Pack" but I may be a "Pack Rat".  I've been told my house is more like a museum so I guess that would make me the curator. My 10 year old niece says I have a lot of "neat stuf". That's probably because I'm a collector. That being the case, I started a group for other collectors. If interested, check it out. I enjoy Friday nite fish fry's and Sheepshead, things it seems only those of us in Wisconsin are familiar with. Gainfully employed in the skilled trades and proud member of the "International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers" yet political views lean conservative. What can I say? I'm a complicated guy. But fear not, I'm easy to get along with and open to all points of view (even if you happen to be wrong). Thanks for stopping by!

Getting together with family and friends to play card and board games, antique, classic and muscle cars, slot car racing, NASCAR, model trains, wood working, history, reading, hiking, biking, investing, flea markets, concerts, plays and collecting coins, stamps, diecast cars, and beer cans.
