Places I've been

Cambridge,Maryland (Hometown), I have lived many places, but I first lived in Cambridge, Maryland. I left with my parents when I was 5, went to Charleston,S.C.Then I lived in Ft.Stewart,GA.Then to the mountains of VA. I went to college at Radford College,taught for 5 years in Southwest VA. Then back to the Eastern Shore of Maryland. I have lived here for 27 years. The most beautiful places I know are the mountains of Virginia, the Blue Ridge, and Blackwater River in Dorchester, MD. I have been in all the states along the east coast, Canada, and in Colorado. I want to go back! I have a desire to travel! I am now teaching second grade and working on a Masters in Reading. I am also a lay speaker and love to tell others the Good News.

I thought it was time to update my version of me.

I am married to my best friend, and we have 2 lovely daughters. The oldest is an EMT (Emergency Medical Technician). She recently married. I am a mother-in-law! The youngest is a Junior in college pursuing a double major in history and anthropology to become a high school teacher. I am blessed by both of them.As they grow, they reveal themselves to be loving and caring women.

I am a teacher, who is presently working on a Master's degree in Reading. I enjoy teaching the young chldren entrusted to me each day.

I love to read and write and would love nothing more than to be able to complete my fondest dream and become a published author and be able to help someone with my writing.

I know the Lord has a plan for me, as for all of us.Because of Jesus Christ, I have a future.

"See, I have engraved you upon the palm of my hands." Isaiah 49:16.

In all I do , in my own personal ministry, I hope to help and encourage.

I intend to continue with my blogs, about life, family, and the art and wonder of being a pilgrim, loved and traveling through here.
