Hello, my name is Barbara, although I'm using the on-line name of Hippygurl. I am 51 years old, work as a nurse in a private family practice and LOVE my job. I have 1 son, trying to work on a better relationship with him. I was married once and had one long-term live-in relationship; Divorced when I discovered that I was just a doormat to him; the long term broke up because he was allergic to work.....very sad situation. I have learned that what seems feasable at 18 or 28 looks a lot different at 40. Live with my kitty, Baby. Not a bad apartment, routine cookie-cutter, but I feel safe and that is important. I work a lot, it keeps me out of trouble and I am on an incredible voyage of self-discovery.
