My husband and I went to Romania a couple of years age. I met a friend there (a pharmacist) and the two of us went to visit Home Health and Hospice organizations. Very interesting! While on that trip we also went to Budapest (a beautiful city) and spent 3 days in Paris. Love British Columbia and the redwoods. Bryce Canyon is amazing.

30 seconds to introduce myself. Well, that would be a challenge as I'm prone to chattiness. But, I'll give it a shot. I'm a 59 y/o semiretired RN with a fabulous and wonderful husband of 37 years, 3 children (the "baby" turns 30 this year and our oldest is 35) and 4 amazing grandchildren 2-7 ( two boys and two girls). My two oldest, my daughters, have both maried great guys who are loving, supportive and great Dad's. My youngest is unmarried. All own their own homes and have happy fand interesting lives. SO!! Great marriage, great kids, a fufilling and interesting career! Need I say it? I'm the luckiest and happiest woman in the world. I burned out on my job as a hospice RN (a job I loved) awhile back and retired for a couple of years. Along the way I found my inner wanna be "artist". She turns out to be kinda greedy. Wants lots and lots of cool stuff to play with. SO to support my addiction I've started a part time business which is going well. Life is very very good!! I like it!!

Largely artsy craftsy at this time. Card making is my current passion but I have done oil painting and would like to get back to that. I've started playing with watercolors...very cool stuff. I'm working on an ambitious scrap book project for my Dad's upcoming 80th. I have enjoyed dancing (poorly as it turns out) in the past and hope to return to that. I fantacize about writing a book and love to read. I want to be a consisent exercizer (a work in progress) but I'm not a quitter so I keep on trying...I'm new to computer stuff, especially online communities, but so far it's working out. I've "met" some very good paperdrafters and enjoy the opportunity to learn.

My husband tops the list! He's the best person in the universe. Hands down. No bias here. If you know him, you'd ALL agree :) Then my kids. All interesting and bright people. And the little ones are just packed with personallity and curiousity. My Dad has had a fabulous and fascinating life. He'd make a great book! And my best friend for 45 years...She is a hoot! Bright, funny, wildly irreverant ("Reality is for the unimaginative!")

I love my back yard. It's peaceful and green. The deer wander through pretty often and thte birds sing...It's a little heaven. I thought Budapest was beautiful and I'd love to go back. Haven't traveled enough yet to have a really good take on favorite places. MOstly I like gren foresty places with sunlight slanting through the tree's, sparkling water with gurgling sounds, fallen logs with the occasional wild flower...Went back to the redwoods last year. Now that's a spiritual experience. I need much more time there. Bryce Canyon (though I'm not usually into deserts) is quite fanciful and exquisitely beautiful!
