More about me: I have an MS in Math and an MA in Secondary Education. I worked in Information Technology for about 15 years, taught HS Math for 2 years and had a private tutoring service for about 12 years. I currently work for my husband's business. I love to read all kinds of books and go to the gym. Used to dance (ballet,jazz) but getting too old for high impact anything. Married 31 years with one child, empty nester.

The latest and greatest is that I had stage 1 Estrogen driven Breast Cancer and have come through my radiation valiantly (back patting here). I am now on a vitamin regime and take Tamoxifen. I know enough not to take any anti-oxidents since that will interfere with the Tamoxifen. Will be on it another 2 and 1/2 years and then 2 years on Arimidex. I am back to the gym and life is good!

Hi gsusek, I was interested in your profile, as you mentioned radiation and tomoxifin. Am wondering if you are a survivor to breast cancer? I had a lumpectomy in May of '01. I took tomoxifen for 5 years, and then was switched to Arimidex, which is hard on the bones. I can not take the fosomex, actonel, etc. because of an ulcer, so I take a hi dose of Vit. D, and calcium, and get the bonedensity tests. I wonder if you can take the arimedex? You are on my prayer list, Pat
