I am a singing, painting, worshipping, loving grandmother of six little angels.  When I do work part-time, it's as a substitute teacher, so I am still with the rug rats, ha, ha! I love that, too.

I am a child of the Sixties who never did the "sixties things." No, I have never taken drugs not prescribed by the doc..... I would not consider burning the flag!!!.... I never burned a bra either (without one you wouldn't have known I was a girl, lol!)...... I never protested publicly.... I never hated men or anyone else..... I still think that those who serve our country, whether in the sixites or now, are heroes..... and I never, ever turned my back on God. Just in case it sounds like my life was boring......  I won't say I always was doing what I should- that would be a bold-faced lie! I drank in bars before I was 18, I danced whenever I could, I told my parents some big stories (the car broke down, Mom, I couldn't get it running until 2 a.m.!), snuck out on a double date to find out I had been set up with a 32-year-old divorcee (I was 16), and in the early years of our marriage (39 years strong now), we helped support Boones Farms!!!!

Now I work part time, as I mentioned before, spend way too much time on my computer, and see my kids and grands whenever I can. Our 'thing' is spending Sat. mornings doing a couple of yard sales (we buy toys for the kids, mostly) and then going to our favorite restaurant for brunch. We love our yard and gardens, and decorating at Christmas. When we win Publisher's Clearing House, I hope to travel.
