Mostly southern New Jersey, but lived in Hillsboro, New Hampshire for 18 months. Been to Ft. Pierce, Fl several times to visit family. Never been overseas, but if the opportunity presents itself: Ireland, Italy, Japan and New Zealand.

Hi. My name is Jo and I've lived in southern N.J. all my life. I went to Berlin Elementary school, then Eastern High School. I've been married to my wonderful husband, Gary, for 33 years. We have 2 beautiful daughters and 5 grand children. I guess I'm considered a quiet person, not confrontational, but I sure do love getting on the floor to play monster with my grand children. I don't ask a lot from my daughter's, but I do insist on seeing my grand children as often as possible and especially on holidays.
If I had my druthers, I'd go back to a time when you didn't have to lock your door at night, when you didn't have to worry about someone making you feel so totally naked when they've stolen your identity and when someone bumps into you by mistake, they say "Excuse me".

Without a doubt, my favorite, favorite movie(s): the Lord of the Rings trilogy. I'd been waiting for someone to make the books into films since I read them when I was 15. Some others are Bringing Up Baby (Katherine Hephburn/Cary Grant), Something The Lord Made (Alan Rickman and Mos Def - EXCELLENT movie), 12 Angry Men (Henry Fonda & excellent cast), War of the Worlds (either version), Day the Earth Stood Still (older version), Abbott & Costello "The Naughty Nineties" (only because I love the skit Who's On First), ANY Jerry Lewis movie....just to name a few.

As the movies, the Lord of the Rings trilogy...I think I've read it 10 times over the past 40 years. I love a good mystery, like James Paterson or Patricia Cornwell. I'm sad that Carl Sagan will never grace book stores with another best seller, but at least there's still Piers Anthony. I've read Bill and Hillary Clinton's books and I love reading the poetry of Maya Angelou.
