Rolling Hills, California (Hometown), The most important places to me have been,in no particular order~ Aspen, Colorado 1971-1984- Lived on Starwood Ranch for most of those years, trainin Tennessee Walking Horses. Married to Lloyd, a Real Cowboy for 7 years. He passed away in 1979. I remained in the area until I moved to Alaska. Kodiak, Alaska 1984-1988 Remarried and had my son Robert in 1985. Worked for KMXT, Public Radio for Kodiak Island, as an announcer. www.kmxt.org Redmond, Oregon 1988-1995 Loved the High Desert of Central Oregon! Spectacular and wild at the time. Worked for the Warm Springs Indians at their Radio Station; also worked for Eagle Crest Resort. Sandpoint, Idaho 1995-2005 Beautiful, spectacular place to live, with a huge lake that is 50 miles long and 1100 feet deep. Close to Canada, Montana, and Eastern Washington. Lots of Indian History, and I spent much of my time with the Indian People. Also is a haven for racists, so I don't recommend anyone actually live there unless you are blond and blue eyed. I learned a lot there, about natural foods, Indian History, Animal Totems, and more. I owned a pink house with lots of flowers- was sad to leave it but the area became too dangerous and corrupt, which is a shame.
