Places I've been

I now live in Sherman, TX. I have lived in Sherman for 14 years. It is where I met my husband. I love going to Tennessee in the Smokie Mountains and to places where my ancestors were from. I enjoyed going with my family to Washington D.C. and going to Galveston to the beach also going to Corpus Christie.

I was born on September 15, 1953 in Dallas, TX at the Methodist Hospital. I am the first and only daughter  of my parents. I have two brothers that were born in 1957 and 1962. My life with my family has been a wonderful one. I started school  in 1959 at a private school called Peter Rabbit. I then went to 2nd and 3rd grade at Thomas Haley Elementary, 4th grade was at T. J. Lee Elementary and repeated at A. S. Johnston Elementary. I also went to 5th and 6th grade at A. S. Johnston. I then went to William B. Travis Jr. High School for 7th an 8th grade. I went to Douglas A. MacArthur High School for 9th through 12th grade. All of these schools are in Irving, TX. I attended Texas Woman's University in Denton, TX. I worked for many years in Irving as a preschool teacher, nanny and also in insurance as a coder(before the computer data entry). My family and I attended Plymouth Park Baptist Church and I became a Christian when I was thirteen. My dad was a deacon in the church and he and my mom both taught Sunday School. As I got older I gave my life to work with children in the ministry. I taught young children in Mission Friends and Cherub Choir and also taught in Girls Auxillary. I was also a Director over the bed babies Sunday School Class at the next church I attended, North Irving Baptist Church. I moved from Irving with my parents in the 90's to live in Sherman, TX. This is where I met my husband. We lived in a mobile home park next door to each other. He was a single divorced man with a daughter and two sons. We hit it off right away and started dating. We now live in a home he bought in another part of Sherman, with his oldest son and our two beagles. Right now and for several years we have lived in a Common Law Marriage, but are planning a wedding sometime this year. Through his youngest son I became a grandma. I truly enjoy spending time with my grandson who is two now.We enjoy going to the Casino and playing blackjack and betting on the horses. I just thought I would let everyone know that I am French, German, English, Irish, and Native American(Tunica, Cherokee, and Natchez) And a proud American.

Activities

Walking with dogs and family, spending time with family especially my grandson, going to the casino in OK. and betting on the horses and playing blackjack. Cooking for my family and going to Church.

Music from the 40's, 50's, and 60's. Easy Listening, Soft Jazz, Cajun, Old Time Christian , and much more.
