Places I've been

I've been to a lot of the upper states (most are up from Texas). My favorites are Colorado, North Dakota, Wyoming, Idaho & of course Montana...my favorite of all. Also have been to some states on the east coast. I really liked New York.

 A little about me....

My husband & I have been married for 33 years. 

We have 2 beautiful daughters & the most precious grandson we could ever have asked for. We are truly blessed. Our third "daughter" is a 7 year old Shih-Tzu.

We've lived at the beach for the past 4 or 5 years. We're  ready to move on to something else. Maybe in the country this time. 

I love to sit & talk with my girls & laugh. I love the peace that God gives me when I get out of His way & stop trying to run my own life. Someday I'll learn.

Some of my favorite times are quiet times. Sitting on the porch very early in the morning. A hot cup of coffee & just listening to God's sounds. The birds, the wind, the waves crashing on the beach.

Mean or rude people...I don't understand them. I'll pray for them, but I'll also avoid them.

Just trying to figure this "growing older thing" out as I go.

Old stuff, like flea market finds. Spend time with family. Work with my flowers. Explore.

Mostly old movies. History Channel, Lifetime Channel, just depends on my mood & if my husband is dominating the remote.

Romance, comedy, suspense, biographies. Depends on who's in it & what it's about. Passion of Christ was the most powerful movie I've ever seen.

Favorite Books

History, biographies, gardening or plants, some romance. Jesus Calling by Sara Young. The Bible. The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren.

Daddy, who was my rock. My daughters who think I am a pain some of the time, but they love me. My grandson who loves me unconditionally. My younger brother who I fought with as a kid but now adore & am so proud of him. My best friend Cyndi, who never forgets me. My husband, who still loves me though he may not like me sometimes.

Favorite Places

Montana, been there twice. It takes my breath away. Traveling the back roads of this country seeing the hidden beauty that the interstate forgets about. Somewhere laughing with my daughters & having a truly good visit. Rocking my grandson to sleep.

Favorite Animals

I like a lot of animals but I believe horses are one of the finest creatures that God ever put on this earth. Such beauty. Their eyes show you their soul.
