I am a retired LPN (low paid nurse). I am a vietnam era vet. ( Army)

I have been divorced for 20 years,and love being single.

I get lonely at times,but that's why God gives us grandkids.

I raised two boys,who grew up to be wonderful men,husbands,and fathers, and are happily married to my beautiful daughter inlaws.

I have 6 grandkids that I adore. I love spending time with them. When they're not too busy with football,tap,girlscouts etc.

I have an awesome parakeet named Tommy,who talks,and comes to me when I call her. Yep,her,I thought she was a boy untill she laid an egg one day. LOL, I didn't know they could do that.

My hobbies are photography,antiqueing(junktiques) I can't afford the real thing.

I go to estate sales/yard sales. I have a booth at a craftique store and sell antiques,and collectables.

I also belong to a couple card clubs,and play pinnocle,and poker once a month.

My plan was to travel when I retired,but became ill and had to go on disability,and eventually social security.

I still travel a little. I have friends in other states that I visit,and of course upper Michigan is a great place to get away from it all. Or as I call it "getting out of Dodge."
