In my twenties I moved quite a bit. I lived in New York City, San Francisco, Boston and San Diego. I moved back to Connecticut and stayed put for a long time and then due to business moved to Chapel Hill, North Carolina and finally Fredericksburg, Virginia.

What would I say about me? I'm educated, resourceful, funny, and stable  I'm a professional person and work very hard, but I know how to relax and usually spend my weekends in jeans.

I was married.  Waited until I was in my forties.  Didn't want to make a mistake.  Unfortunately my husband became ill very early in our marriage so we stopped  traveling like we used to. He was thethe 'high maintainence' individual in the relationship.  I really miss the trips to the ocean and the mountains.

I'm sociable and usually have a good time at parties and really enjoy having friends over. I don't cook a lot but - when inspired - can wield a saute pan with the best of them. Not fussy, not high maintenance, try to be non-critical, and  interested in quality of life rather than amassing 'things'.
