Lived in CA 18 years, spent year in Europe, mostly France, Italy & UK. Been back several times,mostly Denmark. In USN served on an icebreaker and went from Greenland to Antarctica, via NZ. Seen a few others places as well. Montana was last new place to visit.

Some people say I am interesting, some say I am too intense ("you take people too seriously!" - goodness me!) - I live in central MA now, have lived in Northern CA, don't work anymore (older than dirt), have weird sense of humor, I like to read, garden, go places, talk, laugh, read, eat, politics (blue state liberal), born again virgin.

Have worked in variety of jobs: Int'l transportation to tax dept at Staples Inc - also a typesetter (weekly paper to porn), cook, and made cheese in French Alps.

Got my degree in history when I was 50  - was told I am an anomaly and walking history (lived in Haight Ashbury when it began). I have not led a sheltered life but don't flash it.

Have seen many places and like to be open to new adventures since I have to continue to grow.  Enough?
