Places I've been
Brooklyn, NY (Hometown), I currently live in Bronx, NY. I love NY! I have family all over NC, but the family is originally from Anderson County, SC. I have lots of friends who are from Atlanta, GA or have migrated to Atlanta so I go there often. I also have a branch of my family living there.
Most recently, I vacationed in South Africa, and I loved it. Cape Town is beautiful; Johannesburg is impressive and the safari at the Kruger National Park was unbelievable.

About me
I have had a couple of careers--first as an elementary school teacher and then as a health care administrator. Now I am trying to figure out what to do with the next phase of my life. I have been out of the workforce for two years and pursuing many rewarding community service activities. Tutoring in the library literacy program, working as an alumna volunteer at my college, publishing my church's newsletter, fundraising to build a library in a rural province of South Africa. I have a 21 year old son that is a mother's dream.
