More about me: Well, I'm most of the usual things - a Mom, Grandma and Great-Grandma. Usual now, but not so a few decades back, I'm happily divorced.
I joined the workforce when my peers were retiring, and spent ten productive and enjoyable years in health care with the State of Louisiana. Could write a book!
Since retirement three years ago, my spare time has evaporated! How did I ever have time to work? Hobbies include needlework, oil painting, bridge and other card games, and gardening, with a great deal of time spent with friends and family.
To suppliment my income and indulge passions, I'm a "Mystery Shopper" and Election Commissioner. What fun!
Yes, I date. Yes, I've moved past some of my ancient and outmoded views of morality, and have become a 21st century woman. Yee Haw!
Still love to cook, especially Cajun dishes, and still enjoy watching the occasional Lawrence Welk Show, so I guess part of me is forever rooted in the 20th century.
