Good Day Eons,

 I am a single gentleman born in 1952.  I am a Colorado Native and love living in Colorado.  I have two children and one Granddaughter born in 2008.  I work in the Denver Tech Center at CH2M HILL Engineering.  I live in unincorporated Jefferson County in an area sometimes call Comubine Valley.  It is near Clement Park, Southwest Plaza Mall and Columbine High School.

I graduated from Palmer High School in Colorado Springs in 1970 and attended CU Boulder for a couple of years.  I was drafted in late 1972 and joined the Navy to stay out of the Army.  I was married prior to going into the Navy and moved to Longmont, Colorado after the Navy.  My daughter was born in 1977 and my son in 1981.  In 1989 I took a job in Littleton, Colorado and commuted for four years moving to Littleton after my divorce.

I was married a second time in 1995 and divorced at the end of 2000.  I had one long term relationship from 2001 to 2008.  At the end of 2007 my position where I worked for 18 plus years was eliminated.  I have been with CH2M HILL since 2008.

I play guitar and sing for fun, I love to bowl, take road trips around Colorado, visit my family in Longmont, Ft. Collins and Colorado Springs.   I hate yard work, but I do it and feel satisfaction when I am done.  I like sports, especaially the Colorado Rockies.  I am a fan of baseball, hockey, football, basketball, The Denver Roller Dolls (roller derby), high school sports, CU, CSU, and Air Force sports.  I am a groupie for a Colorado Springs band named One Last Shot - love to dance!

I do not read a lot, but my favorite authors are Ayn Rand and James Mitchener.  I am an Adjunct Instructor in the CAD department at Arapahoe Community College.  I teach intro to 3D CAD.  I love seeing the light bulbs go off and having the students realize they have tools to create in their hands.

I love the Amazing Race I watch sports when possible with Baseball and NASCAR taking priority followed by Track and Field, Colorado Avalanche, Denver Broncos and Denver Nuggets

Activities

I love the feeling I get from the Nitro Funny Cars and Top Fuel Dragsters at a NHRA race. Today, Friday the 13th of July, I will be at Bandimere Speedway feeling the power of those cars as they thunder down the quarter-mile track in 4.5 to 5 seconds - wow - what a rush....!

I click to help provide mammograms to low-income woman at thebreastcancersite.com and also I click to help provide books to kids at the literacy tab on the same web site. I volunteer through our office Community Involvement Team for several programs throughout the year. This year I was the lead for our involvement in the Denver Heart & Stroke Walk.

Favorite Music

I listen to a local "new" country music station most of the time, but I also listen to "smooth" jazz and classic rock - still a rocker at heart. I play the guitar and sing to "entertain myself and annoy those around me" as I always say - mostly John Denver, Crosby Stills and Nash, and some new country songs - not a rocker when it comes to my own music. Number One movie - White Christmas (I never get tired of that movie) Number Two movie - Top Gun Favorite type - comedy or sports (baseball movies). I just bought a Blu-Ray disk player and the Blu_Ray version of Top Gun - White Christmas not available on Blu-Ray today.
