I love the feeling I get from the Nitro Funny Cars and Top Fuel Dragsters at a NHRA race. Today, Friday the 13th of July, I will be at Bandimere Speedway feeling the power of those cars as they thunder down the quarter-mile track in 4.5 to 5 seconds - wow - what a rush....!

I click to help provide mammograms to low-income woman at thebreastcancersite.com and also I click to help provide books to kids at the literacy tab on the same web site. I volunteer through our work based volunteer organization for several programs throughout the year.

I listen to a local "new" country music station most of the time, but I also listen to "smooth" jazz and comtempopary rock - still a rocker at heart. I play the guitar and sing to "entertain myself and annoy those around me" as I always say - mostly John Denver, Crosby Stills and Nash, and some new country songs - not a rocker when it comes to my own music.

Well I had good intentions, but landed in the hospital had a very large hernia that needed operating on. I knew something was wrong but was very surprised to hear hearnia. I was also happy to hear hernia which is lot easier to deal with than some other more serious thing that it could have been, I have been home from hospital for 4 days now. I feel I am doing well. Will be able to return to work hopefully within another 2 to 3 weeks.
Hope things are going well with you and new Granddaughter!! It is very hard for me to be so far away from my grandchildren, but it's just one of those things you deal with. I talk with them weekely, and get lost of pictures and that helps.

Thanks for your reply. My oldest grandchild just turned 17, so hopefully it will be a while before he makes me a great grandmother!! lol
I didn't get to see Stonehedge, and did not actually do a lot of sightseeing around England.
I did go to Salou, Spain for a week, and did a one day trip to Dublin. I think that I would have rather spent a week in Dublin, than in Spain.
I just returned to Co. Springs yesterday. I now have to get ready to start back to work on Tuesday.

Just because I work at a school doesn't mean I can read!lol. When I went back and reread your info, I saw that you wanted to visit New England in the fall, not jolly old England. Oh well, hope you enjoyed a little review of my trip to England.

Hi,I am mama3nanny7 Right now I'am in Feltwell England, visiting my daughter,son-in-law and grands. My son-in-law is stationed here at Milldenhall Airforce Base.
Even though it is not the fall, it is very pretty. This area is diffentely county. Everything here is very green because of the rain, everywhere you look there is roses growing. There are some beautiful huge trees here too.
I have just gotten back from a one day trip to Dublin,Ireland. We were in the ciy, and it was very busy there. The weather and the follage reminds me of England.
I live in Colorado Springs, and work at Air Academy High School. I am an Autism Paraprofessional. I have only been in Co. for a little over one year, I moved there from Fl.
I was reading you blog about England, and just thougt I would share a little of what I have gotten to experience. I return to Co. on Aug.5th, in order to get ready for work on the 11th.
