Places I've been

I've lived in Albuquerque all my life. I moved six times to new homes within the city with my folks but have lived with my husband in our home near the Rio Grande River, just off of the famous Route 66 for 38years. I've been to Colorado, Arizona, Nevada, Texas and California. I travel in and around my home state to visit family, friends and out to the horse racing tracks when we've got one ours in a race or two.

More about me

 I married a cute boy who became a great guy who has become wonderful man and loving father and grandfather.

 We have four great children, four beautiful grand kids,[ first, a girl then three boys, two border collie girls and two quarterhorse girls.

 I love to paint landscapes, quilt, garden, bake and cook.  I enjoy non-fiction books and on the edge action movies.  I love my LORD, my family and my home.

Activities

My husband and I attend Holy Mass every Sunday and get to Confession every first of the month. I meet with my painting group and go to lunch with my friends every two weeks. My hobby passions are Quilting, Painting, Writing, and gardening. My hubby and I get out to our neighborhood "cheers" which is called Charritos, it's a great New Mexican restaurant just down the street from our home. It's so cool because they see us walking in the door and by the time we sit they arrive with our drinks and appetizer and ready to take our order!! We love it!!

Country, Classic Rock, Christian, Soul, and even some of my kids' favorite music! Throw in some smooth Jazz too!

Big Bang Theory, Project Runway, all the CSIs, TMC and the Hallmark channels and EWTN.

All of The Lord of the Rings, all the Harry Potters, all the Star Wars, It's a Wonderful Life and The Milagro Beanfield War, [it's made the area of home]. Auntie Mame, The Goonies, Hackers.So many more can't name them all!

SACRED SCRIPTURES, non-ficton, home improvement, art and gardening.

The wonderful: Blessed John Paul, Our Blessed Mother Mary, Papa Ben, Saints Paul and Peter. My my loving family and best friends. Especially my DAD, Phillip, the greatest man I have ever known!

My HOME and being up in the Northern New Mexico High Country any time of the year!

Dogs, horses and bunnies have always had a special place in my life. They stand by me when I'm having my crying moments out in the garden.
