Places I've been

I was born military (Navy), then was married to a military man (Army) for 10 years, so i've lived in several places......let's see. Charleston, South Carolina, Washington D C, Norfolk, VA, VA. Beach, VA, N. Chicago, IL, the Mississippi Delta (the cotton growing area--where my family is from), Georgia (Ft. Stewart) & Germany, and now, Memphis.

about me----what can i say????  i have lived many lives, been married a few times,  i live in in west tennessee now.   i have 2 wonderful sons, ages 21 and 35.  i look great, feel better, love life, etc, etc , etc.  yes, i did date a murderer.  in fact, if anyone saw the movie 'walking tall', authorities think he may have been one of the guys who killed buford pusser's wife.  if you have read the book 'mississippi mud',  he definitely WAS one of the men who killed Judge Sherry and his wife in Biloxi, Mississippi several (i can't remember how many) years ago.  their daughter wrote the book, and when i read it, there the man's name was, with all the grisly details.  i dated him AFTER buford pusser's wife was killed, and before judge sherry and his wife were killed--they lived just down the road from my parents. 

 i lived in biloxi for quite a few years---married my 2nd husband and divorced there.  my family is from the mississippi delta region in the middle of mississippi, but my dad and stepmother and family moved to biloxi after i married the first time.  my mother and oldest little brother were killed in a car accident in 1967  when i was 14, right after my dad retired from the navy.  i was hurt badly and in a coma for almost a month.  such a horror to wake up to.   

happier things-----married again for the 3rd and a half time------have beautiful grandkids. am keeping the little boys now, so gotta run.  write me everyone--luv ya!!! ---------        dd

wow--i AM a reader-- 'angela's ashes', most books by Frederick Forsythe--i do love espionage. and i enjoy non-fiction. plus, i enjoy an occasional good steamy romance.
