Activities

I really get into healthy cooking and a little unhealthy cooking at times too. I think the best preventative medicines are a medium hot green curry and a brandy or hot toddy (but not at the same time!). I am forever linked to Yoga and also like to walk, hike, and travel. I care about the environment and our impact on it, and am trying to limit mine, although I have a long way to go. I am also trying to get myself to drag out the sewing machine again, and I like to grow herbs. I'm learning to golf and have always wanted to kayak (smooth water). Of course returning to school to get my BS has put a damper on some of these things.

Favorite Music

My musical taste changes with my mood, but I tend to sway towards rhythm and blues, a little bit country, plus music from other countries, like Indian; Arabian(very energizing); African; Celtic (something that lets you feel a story or a mood); occasionally classical. I also like silence.

Master Piece Theater (& Mystery Theater too); Bones; House; Cashmere Mafia; Babylon 5;

Favorite Books

Homer's Odyssey; The Covenant; Ramayana; and many more. I just finished the Handmaids tale by M. Atwood - very interesting.
