I've lived in Clarion Pa., Dubuque Ia., Boulder Co., Modesto Ca., Portland Or., Ocala, Florida, and now, north-central Alabama. I've traveled all of the lower 48 states and hope to at least see Alaska before I'm too old and decrepit to enjoy it. I've cruised in the Caribbean once and would love to go again.

Hi everyone! I'm happy to introduce myself. I'm now 60 and a grandmother several times over. When I'm not working, reading, writing, spinning, [yarn that is], or spending time with the grandkids, I am trying to find my way around this internet thingy! I love cats, like dogs [as long as they are someone else's] and can usually find my way home  from the interstate. Maybe that's because I used to drive a semi in my wilder, younger days. Nowadays, I spend most of my time dealing with all the little(and big!) challenges that go hand in hand in living our "golden years." I'm also the author of The Peony Garden which was my first novel and just recently published. I am looking forward to publishing more of my writings, meeting new friends, sharing good books, and having good times with y'all.
