I am trapped in the body of a middle class suburbanite but I wanna be a biker chick. I wanna die my hair red, snap a match and hang a butt and fly over the open road!!!! Instead I have a couple of pets around who act spontaneously and from instinct so that I can enjoy freedom vicariously. And I read a lot about the transcendent "spirit."..so life is good.
When I grow up, I want to be a singer, I want to belt out a tune from the bottom of my heart! Maybe an opera singer. Or a rock star. Or the next Patsy Cline.
I saw this quote on someone else's profile and remembered how much I loved it, so here it is and thank you to whomever had it posted first.

A Tale of Two Cities (I loved that wastrel Sidney Carton. It started me on the bumpy road of bad boys) Sophie's Choice ( The most heartbreaking book about a mother ever written.) Slaughterhouse- Five (a surprisingly poignant yet eccentric anti-war story centered around one of America's biggest military bad judgments, the fire bombing of Dresden.)
