Places I've been

I have lived in Milledgeville all my life. My family mostly goes camping in a travel trailer to Tennessee or Florida during the summer. In December of 2006, I flew (for the first time in my life) to New York with my oldest adopted daughter on a class trip.

More about me

I am 51 years old and married to my second husband for 15 years. He has two grown children (ages 38 and 39) and I also have two grown children (ages 23 and 27). Together we have two adopted daughters ages 11 and 17. I am "semi-retired" from the Department of Family and Children Services after 27 years. I "retired" in 2005 to home school my 11 year old daughter. I contract out services (training potential foster/adopt parents and completing home studies) to DFCS on a part time basis. My oldest adopted daughter is a fantastic singer. She may decide to to give American Idol a try this summer!

Activities

I work part time with the Dept. of Family and Children Servies, attend Church and all church related activities, read, go camping, and spend time with my family.
