Attractive female who does not look at all like I am 53. I left Chicago to start a new life in Oregon and so far I love it. This state is beautiful.  The people here are quite different and very interesting, especially, in Portland. I am in a constant state of awe because of the natural beauty of Oregon. I am planning to attend the college of Naturopathy in Portland, Oregon next year.

Favorite Movies

Daughters of the Dust, Blade Runner, not the director's cut, although, that's not a bad one. Last but not least, Now, Voyager a classic movie from the forties.

Favorite TV Shows

Star trek next generation, Dr. Who, the ones with Tom Baker, of course. Deep space nine. Current ones that I enjoy watching when I have the time to watch television are almost anything on the Discovery Channel and the public education channel. Other show include Grey's Anatomy, Law and Order, Private Practice, Cold Case, C-Span 1 and 2, Flash Forward and Fringe. Walter is fantastic.

Activities

I take Qigong classes. I go bicycling, hiking and Kayaking. Some occasional horse back riding.

I love jazz above any other. The west coast jazz sound especially. I love music in general though, all kinds, except hip-hop and rap.

The Invisible Man by Ralph Ellison, Parable of the Sower by Octavia Butler. Almost anything by William Faulkner. I have many more but not the space.

My friends, The Dalai Lama. Alice Walker, Toni Morrison and Barack and Michelle Obama.

Seaside, Oregon, Tarragona, Spain, Barcelona, Spain. Almost all of the national forests of Colorado. San Francisco, California.

Favorite Animals

Cats, dogs and birds. Also, I like otters and skunks, but would not have them as pets. I wouldn't mind having a baby elephant as a pet, but only with it's mother and other females and males. So, I guess, I would have to have an elephant farm. LOL!
