I'm an author/artist living on a Wisconsin dairy farm. Spouse and I were married 30 years, have 2 sons, a daughter-in-law and 2 (twin) grandsons, in Florida. I have a 110 lb. dog who takes up most of the floorspace in my empty nest.
I'm a cancer survivor and in case that isn't enough, I've twice been struck by lightning. Before you ask, no, I don't wanna catch a buzz; no I'm not having a current affair; yes it's shocking, and yes, lightning can strike twice in the same place. My home (complete with 6 rooftop lightning rods) has been struck more than twenty times.
With family all over the country, I enjoy traveling, reading, painting, walks in the woods and the beach. AND - I laugh - alot. I'm havin' a good time in the skin I'm in. Recently, I completed training to become a Certified Laughter Leader through the World Laughter Tour. (We spread the word about the many benefits of laughter by conducting 'Laughter Yoga' and Laughter Fitness workshops)
I served as Community Liaison for the county child abuse prevention team; was a traveling children's photographer; taught mural painting workshops; worked as an ABOC Optician; and was Design Director at a new-age magazine. I recently retired to write full-time. My 1st book, The Incontinental Divide will (hopefully) be published soon. I'm currently at work on the next 2 books in the series; The Amish Crack House and Me Just Happy Cows Don't Fly.

David Sedaris is my favorite author so I love all of his books. I like Christopher Moore's stories, Janet Evanovich's & Sheila Williams' work. Shel Silverstein's books are awesome. Yes, they are written for children - so? My friends, authors Janet Chapman and John Getze always keep me entertained. Will Lavender's debute novel, "Obedience " is spectacular. The list goes on and on...
