More about me

I used to work manufacturing precision optics for a number of years before entering the field of quality assurance where I became a Quality Engineer in optics. I spent some 25 years in the Quality field and really loved the years I spent in optics where I also taught courses on the inspection of optics and the use of optical instrumentts to inspect optical components. I later worked as a Manufacturing/Mechanical Supervisor overseeing the quality of products.

In my retirement, My wife and I now enjoy travel. We have visited such places as Iceland, Holland, Belgium, Spain, Portugal, France, Morocco, Gambia, The Canary Islands, Senegal, Argentina, Bolivia, Ecuador Uraguay, Mexico City, the Yucatan Peninsula and more. We have also travelled a great deal of the U.S.
