Places I've been

I lived in the Republic of China for 3 years. Met Chiang-kai-Shek and Madame Chiang many, many times. Travelled to Singapore, Hong Kong, Philippines, Japan, Hawaii and all over the entire state of California as it represented the Left Coast in those days. I was with a helicopter search & rescue squadron off the aircraft carrier USS YORKTOWN (CVS-10) in VietNam from 1965-1966.

Mississippi Delta Blues, Southern Rock, Cool Jazz, anything with the oboe/flute, haunting melodies as early mountain folk/country brought from England/Scotland/Ireland and of course The Oldies from the 50s

Not a snob but detest canned laughter in sitcoms and dislike (don't hate) predictable sappy TV dramas so my fave's are Discovery, A&E, Bravo, Animal Planet and CNN

Favorite comedy of all time that no one ever saw was "The Wrong Box", English, late 60s; "The Ebony Tower" with Lawrence Olivier, Gretta Scaachi; "My Left Foot", Daniel Day-Lewis; "52 Pickup", Roy Schieder, Ann-Margaret; "A Thousand Clowns", Jason Robards.
