Hi back Joanna: I appreciate your trying to get me this pattern. I know how long it takes to complete a project. I have a wall mural (I designed a rug) that is appx 6 ft x 4 ft. This took me a year and a half to finish. I had to do on in bed, as I didn't want any creases in the canvas. I had a special frame constructed to stretch and hold this in shape. I made it in the 70's and it's still the same as when I did it. I do not have a store any longer. We did knitting, crocheting, needlepoint, beading, beaded needlepoints, hooks, and others I can't even remember. It was loads of fun. I had a knack for designing dresses and sweaters (one of a kind), fitted to a person's frame. My hands don't work as good as they used to. But, I'll take it rather than the other way. Again, I thank you for your help. When I get your pattern, I'll send you a copy of the finished product as well. I hope it doesn't take me 3 years - ha ha.... Enid PS - My email is: enidgh@yahoo.com
I am making a pineapple tablecloth now. I really would like to see the pattern (or get the instructions) that you won your award for. I am a knitter and crocheter and had my own store (loads of fun). Thanks for all your assistance. Enid.
Maybe when I retire! It looks like you made it with the really fine crochet thread. I made a centerpiece doily for a friend's dining room table as a wedding gift several years ago using that. My friend had seen an unusual pattern and liked it but didn't know how to follow it. When she asked me to make this for her, I didn't think it would be much of a wedding gift for such a good friend, but by the time I finally finished it I knew it was!
