A retiree, who because of his love for our Lord Jesus the Christ, is able to enjoy life and its many blessings. Joined this site, looking to make new friends.

Born and raised in NYC by 2 hardworking parents who moved from the south seeking a better life. While both mom and dad have moved on to be with the Lord, I'm still blessed have 2 of my 4 brothers and 3 sisters here with me. A Marine veteran of the Viet Nam era. After a long and very successful career in New York City government service, I retired in 1994 and moved to the Charleston area of SC, Summerville to be exact. After 2 years of retirement, came to Memphis, Tn. to help out a friend. 10 years later and I'm still living in Memphis. My plan is to return to Summerville one day.

Divorced with three grown kids, a son and 2 daughters, all grown and out on their own (thank you Lord). My son has blessed me with a grandson, whom I'm trying to spend all of my kids' inheritance on.

Love sports, especially baseball and football. I am an avid fan of the 26 times world champion New York Yankees. Have been an official in several sports over the years. Currently only working as a football referee on the high school and youth levels. My music taste include gospel, ole school, r&b, smooth jazz and the blues. Spending more and more time on my computer. No real skills yet, but learning as I go.

Most of my days are spent doing some sort of ministry work, which is one of the reasons I haven't left Memphis as of yet or just lazing around when I'm not on the computer.

Activities

Love to cook, decorate cakes and officiate football. Active in a number of ministries at the church I attend. An avid NY Yankee and Super Bowl Champion NY Giant fan
