I retired 2005 after working 25 years in the V.P. law department at a large health sciences university. If I never see another contract--no problem :-) I am thoroughly enjoying my retirement. I am currently editor of two sites at BellaOnline.com and I have a 10 year plus direct selling home business through Watkins where I specialize in herbs, spices and flavorings. I guess that makes me a writer, editor and entrepreneur. You can visit my links below.

Additionally, I have a movie review Blog titled Going to the Movies with Vannie as a result of writing movie reviews for an online site. I also have a recipe business site & Blog titled A Better Cook for my Watkins business.

I am online everyday writing and working until about 3:30/4p. I love working from home, I am able to get away for long weekends every two months or so. Of course, I take my trusty laptop along--life has never been better.

My outside activities include working with community, advocate and civic organizations; have become chair of two. Go me!--I think :-/

My favorite way to spend an evening is with a good book. This is not something I found recently. The day I became engaged (I was in my early 20's) my mother told my honey, that he should know that (1) I spent a lot in time at the library and (2) like to walk in the rain. It drove her crazy that I would go out the minute it started to rain. I still love rain and books! And, now, I am loving retirement.
