Places I've been

When people ask me where my hometown is I always say the Northwest as I have lived in a multitude of cities throughout Washington state, Oregon, Idaho, Northern California and Montana. My father was a Pacific Northwest logger requiring constant moving from logging camp to logging camp several times a year most of my childhood. Then I married a construction worker and he ran construction crews building hydro-electric dams all over the Northwest requiring moving about ever 18 to 24 months. I have been a gypsy my entire life. Moving is in my blood. I get restless when I have lived anywhere for too long. I know when it is time to move again... when I get tired of the local restaurants:-) Even though I have moved my entire history I haven't really been to any place other than the Northwest with the exception of a few trips to Mexico and Hawaii. My latest home is Costa Rica. Due to the nature of my business... as the owner of the International Segway Distributorship for Costa Rica, I will be opening Segway dealerships and Segway eco-touring locations throughout the country enabling me the privilege of quenching the gypsy in my soul, so perhaps I will be here for a while.

I am on the my fifth incarnation in this particular reincarnation. That's right!

My first incarnation was as a wife & mother for over twenty years.

My second incarnation was what I call the "second-coming-of-my-teenager." After my divorce I left the northwest and moved to L.A. where I lived-out the years I missed as a teenager due to marrying so young.

I will never forget my experiences in Los Angeles just as most teenager never forget their teen year. I loved the new sense of total freedom. It was during this incarnation that I learned to be a business woman working in the field of sales & marketing.

My third incarnation was manifested from a deep longing for spirit. Chronic illness changed who I was and I would spent the next twenty years on a spiritual quest. I spent my days in spiritual retreats and became an Ordained Interfaith Minister.

During my fourth incarnation I became a psychologist... something I had longed for as long as I can remember. I earned a Ph.D in Transpersonal Psychology only to learn by search was for my own psychological healing and not a calling.

I am now experiencing my fifth incarnation. I recently moved from California to Costa Rica. I am the CEO of my own company... Segway Costa Rica, S.A. so stay tuned for one of the biggest journeys of my life!
