Places I've been: Born in Tennessee but Virginia is base home. Done some travelling west but not far. Have enjoyed Florida (before Katrina) and taken one cruise (WANT MORE!)
More about me: My husband and I live a quiet life - but to the fullest possible. He has had parkinsons disease for about 24 years now and is starting to slow down a bit. We have a nice home in Virginia with Noah's Ark (5 dogs, 10 cats, 4 birds and a tank of goldfish!) Though I said "quiet life", life is never still with us. Two grandkids running about all week. I enjoy working in the yard, collecting unicorns (over 350 now), having small get togethers, visiting wineries and just plain laughing!
Activities: working with my flower beds, walking with the kids and dogs. Enjoy visiting wineries, festivals and antigue car shows (that's more my husband actually).
Favorite Charities: Make a Wish foundation, Cancer society
Favorite Music: Pretty much anything but head banging stuff (I was in the beatle/dave clark 5 phase. Love oldies!
Favorite TV Shows: Without a trace, Ghose Whisperer, Cold Case
Favorite Quotes: believe in the unicorn - magic can be real
Favorite People: My husband, my kids and my darling grandkids!
Favorite Places: anything that might have "cruise" attached
Favorite Animals: All furry and feathered animals that like to cuddle and care. Sorry - the cats didn't let the mice join the group though!!!
