Former active duty in the Air Force (1971-1978). Opened an upholstery shop in Sedan, KS for several years. Moved to San Antonio to continue education. Held different jobs until entering USAF Civil Service in 1989 and continuing in current career track. Enjoy stained glass, fishing and camping as hobbies. Two daughters and 7 grandchildren.

Activities

Gardening, the organic way; the less pesticides and chemicals, the better. Fishing, the best way to relax I have found. Art, I paint a little and play around with stained glass.

Favorite Charities

The last few years I have supported my city's food bank through regular contributions. Other charities include women's and children's shelters.

My favorite type of music is meditative - many call it "New Age.", My favorite artist is Enya.

Favorite TV Shows

I really don't have any favorite TV shows. It seems that the main broadcasting companies (ABC, CBS, etc.) have lost thier way over the years. "Reality TV, " what an oxymoron that is. Most of my television viewing is on the History Channel, Discovery, Travel Channel, and HGTV.
