I've been married to the same wonderful man for 28yrs. We have 3 wonderful children; 2 daughters and 1 son. Our son has just returned from Iraq. He served 17 months in Iraq with the 3/2SBCT out of Fort Lewis. He is currently on his 45 day leave....spending time with us. He will be going to Conn Barracks, Schweinfurt, Germany in March of 2008. We have 2 beautiful grandchildren ages 3yrs and 2yrs and a great son-in-law. Both our daughters are currently in college. I am disabled with severe rheumatoid arthritis. I hate the word disabled; I am challeneged daily with movement. Somedays I really wish I could find my bag of over-size Mrs. Potato Head parts to exchange out my offending joints. Mostly I play joint-du-jour. The swelling never stays around long enough to get boring but then you can't adjust completely because the swelling has moved elsewhere. No two days are ever the same....the spice of life.

Activities

Praying for the safe return of America's sons and daughters from war. I'm learning Italian.......the language speaks to my soul.
