More about me

I am an educator who enjoys adventure.  An Irishman who is a romantic but can anger quickly when someone offends family or friends.  A procastonater who hates cleaning, organization (but does it because it is one of my downfalls).  Spontanous person who will jump at the chance to take off on a sailboat for weeks at a time.  Also known as "Dad,"  "Grandpa Joe," and to my students as "Captain Joe."  If you are one of my students I expect the best from you and chastize you when you give me less.  If you are a crew member, I expect 100% and not to be afraid to challenge my decision if you have reason to believe I am wrong or taking my vessel into harm's way.

 

I enjoy giving backrubs in candlelight or moonlight.  I enjoy cooking for two or twenty.  I love to be with like-minded people.  I hate liars!!!  I love the sun and warmth.  I trust people too easily and I am a sucker for any kid who wants to go fishing.
