More about me

Let's see....I graduated high school in Michigan...class of '72.  I wandered a bit, spending time in California and South Carolina.  But I found my way back home.  My son will be 31 this year....and I can hardly believe how time has flown. I have to keep reminding myself that I'm not a spring chick anymore ;-)  I have psoriatic arthritis pretty bad so it limits my activities, and yet I manage ok.  My memory sputters every now and then and I'm a bit rougher around the edges than I used to be. My waistline has expanded but then, so have my horizons. I plan on living to a very old age.  I haven't decided what I want to do with the rest of my life, but new opportunities present themselves all the time :)   I love to cook, read, play board games, enjoy time outdoors, travel, learn new things.....  Spending time with friends is one way to stay grounded in this crazy world we live in. And making new ones is even better, so I will welcome all emails!

Wow, where do I begin? Recent views: Happy Feet (laughed my heart out) & The Departed (intense to the last minute!). I have favorites like Johnny Depp movies, City of Angels, Love Actually, Stepmom, Message in a Bottle, Man on Fire, Dragonfly, You've Got Mail, Pay It Forward, Shawshank Redemption, Kiss the Girls, Legends of the Fall, Shrek, 50 First Dates, The Godfather series.......and so many more

Favorite Books

I love books, read all the time so it's hard to pick a favorite but if I have to.......then of course, The Bible, The Velveteen Rabbit, all John Grisham novels. I usually enjoy the Oprah picks. Currently reading "Girls" (a thriller by Frederick Busch)
