My focus is on learning new things- even if I have no particular need to know them. Hearing what others are enthusiastic about gets me interested, too.
I enjoy making and learning to make things- my own scrub tops for work, quite a bit of quilting, and making miniature houses and their furnishings (I hate calling them dollhouses since I have no dolls in them), bread, homegrown vegetables. Lots of canning happens throughout the summer and I just started a sourdough starter.
