More about me

Small town girl. Lived here my whole life and wouldn't want to live anywhere else. Married my best friend 37 years ago and never regretted a day of it. We have two adult sons but no grandchildren yet. We are enjoying our friends grandchildren a lot!  I love to read and crochet but eye problems keep me from doing it as much as I like.  Currently I am grieving for my mother who passed away on September 7, 2007. I know she is in a better place but I sure miss having her here. I am also missing my dog, Major, who has been gone two years now. Wanting to adopt a shelter dog but my husband is not ready for that yet. I am also geting ready for bariatric surgery on January 28, so I will put the dogggie adoption on hold for now. Most importantly, I am a Christian and Jesus is my hero! Trying to live my life for Him.
