I have been married twice. My current husband and I have be married for 46 years this past Jan. 8.

We have four children, 2 boys and 2 girls. We have 6 grandchildren, 2 girls and 4 boys ranging in ages from 12 to 22. We have a new grandson-in-law now. Sad to say don't have a grandson-in-law anymore. He didn't want to work on the marriage any more so he is history as of 11/06/2010.

I retired from Georgia Dept. of Educ. in 2000, and from JCPenney's in August 2007.

My husband and I moved from Georgia back to Oregon for our retirement.

Since moving to Oregon I have become a full time caregaver for my husband. He lost part of his leg last year and is doing real well with his new one. Now I am dealing with his vascular dementia, along with other illiness. Wasn't the retirement we were looking for, but the Lord knows what he is doing.

I have one sister and 2 brothers. I have one brother deceased.

Our mother will be 91 in January and still going strong. Our mother reached one year November 3 cancer free. She is still living by herself and getting around pretty good for going to be 92 in January. Momma has reached year two cancer free. She did have an heart attack in August and had an stent put in.

On November 12, 2011, I lost my husband. He will be missed very much. In January we would have been married 49 years.
