I'm always doing something. The word "bored" isn't part of my personal vocabulary. There's a whole world out there, how could you be bored? There's always something out there to learn about, to try out, to do. You don't have to do everything, but it's a waste to do nothing. I do daydream, but that's just my mind planning & exploring while I rest up for the next venture or activity. I guess I can be kind of unconventional sometimes.

I'm a Christian, but my faith is always being tested, formed, tested again & reformed. Faith is a process & cannot be cast in stone. It has to grow & develop. To me faith is about relationship with God & people, & about character.

People are important. It's amazing how sometimes you become close friends with people you never would have chosen yourself. My best friend has schizo-affective disorder (& doing nicely, thank you). One day I walked over just to chat with her, ended up giving her rides, & out of that developed a very deep, meaningful friendship that has done more for me than any other relationship I ever had. You never know ....

My pet dog is a Shar-pei/Retriever mix that I got from a rescue shelter & is deaf. I taught her ASL signs (I know American Sign Language) & she learned it pretty quickly. All my friends  love her. She's still a bit jumpy, but getting better all the time.

A few people have asked me what I'd do if money were no object. My mind always goes blank. I'd probably keep doing what I'm doing now. Maybe I'd hire a housekeeper. Someday I wanna have a clean house ... :-D
