The most inspiring places I have been would include Sligo, Ireland, Yosemite National Park, the King Tut exhibit, any museum, and the dinky Sioux Indian museum at the Sioux City IA Library(during my childhood. Any body of water transports me.

Words feed me. I am nourished by good books and my artform is painting with words. Literacy programs were made for me. Teaching someone to read is a joy.
I love the freedom of retirement, the challenge of dealing with cancer, and the grand benefit of perspective that aging brings.
