- More about me
-
I am 58 years old and have an 10 year old son, who, by the way, is my inspiration for living large! I make my home in Mckinley, Mi. along the AuSable River. This is bear country and we often see them in summer. Quite possibly I was born 100 years too late. I have retreated to northern Michigan and the boreal forest, making a 2 hour commute to work. But, my home is log and the forest is peaceful. A wonderful place for a boy to grow up!

Puccini operas, Strauss waltzs. Tchaikovsky ballets, Adagios, Classic rock, New age, Native American, Gordon Lightfoot, Bob Seger, and such a variety I cant list them all! Sometimes, the wind in the forest is a song. Or the water moving along the river's course. Now, I'm beginning to be comfortable with the sound of my own voice! Recently, a friend told me about a piece of music called "Tacoma Trailer" by Leonard Cohen. It has become a favorite and I listen to it often!

My three huskies, and the creatures of the forest who share their home with me! Bears, coyotes, deer, badgers, foxes, rabbits. The Eagles, partridge, owls, hawks, and song birds. It is their home, I am the guest in their living room. They are gracious hosts! We understand eachother and have made our peace!
