More about me: I'm a Boomer living within 100 miles of his birthplace: Miami, Oklahoma. I produce a thrice-weekly column at my Boomer nostalgia site, I Remember JFK (irememberjfk.com). If you're old enough to remember JFK yourself, or just the 60's and 70's, cruise by and have some fun.
Activities: Writing, staying ontop of the world of Information Technology, looking ridiculous on a golf course, making my wife of 25 years happy (or at least keep her from getting too angry).
Favorite Music: Springsteen, Neil Young, the Stones, the Who, Mark Knopfler, Dire Straits, Joni Mitchell, Dylan, the Fab Four, Counting Crows (my kid turned me onto them), Tangerine Dream (GREAT for programming), Zep, and, of course, Van the Man.
Favorite TV Shows: Scrubs, the Sopranos (the cleaned up A&E version), Mad Men, DS9, just about anything on History Channel
Favorite Movies: Blazing Saddles, Sneakers, Godfather I and II, Contact, 2001, Minority Report, Anything with Jack or Denzel in it.
Favorite Books: Heinlein's The Door into Summer, 75% of the rest of Heinlein's work, Tau Zero, Ringworld, Lucifer's Hammer, the Rama series, Dune, anything by Grisham

Favorite Animals: Dugenheimerschmidt, my miniature schnauzer, and Dharma, his little sister
