I am a 52 year old female, divorced for years, living in Alabama for the last 30 years.  I have one son who is 27 and on his own now.  I have alot of health issues and no longer able to work, so the computer is all I have to keep me company.  I have diabetes, arthritis,  hiatal hernia, fibromyalgia, nerve damage due to the diabetes, sleep apnea.I have had a hip replacement bout 5 years ago and now I have a knee replacement done the last of January a year ago, so am still recovering from that, so far, its the worse surgery I have ever had.  The doc said I would always be on cane, so much damage before I had surgery. I waited and endured so much pain before I finally had to give up and get it done or be in wheelchair.  But  so am doing better I guess...could be worse.

I enjoy my penpals, I have one in Canada and one in Pennsylvania and I have lots of email pals. 

It sucks not being able to work anymore, I have always been used to working and staying busy...but now, its almost impossible. But I survive.  If not for my computer, I would go nuts,haha

Activities

I love my computer, I am on it most of the time, especially when I cant sleep. I enjoy surfing the net, so much to do and see. I play alot of online board/card games. I do some scrapbooking and I have two penpals that I write to, I love to write and learn bout different States and cultures.
