I have lived in Connecticut, New York State, California, Washington State, Maryland, Idaho, Colorado, Arizona. I lived in Colorado the longest, and would live there still if I could. I love to travel in the US, and have camped all over. I have been to Canada and Mexico, but no other places outside the US.

More about me

I live in Phoenix, AZ with my husband of 28 years, Paul.    Our true home is Colorado, but 9 of our grandchildren live here, so here we are.  We enjoy our family, camping, baseball, our three furry pals, Phannie, Owlet, and Chat Noir.  We love our Lord, Jesus and our country.  I detest the heat here in the summer, but winters are bearable.  We both grew up in souuthern New England, but made a permanent change for the better to the west, Colorado specifically, in 1971.  We made a rule - we would move (and have) if we had to, but not east of the Rockies.  We know where we belong.

My husband is French, for as many generations as there are - his family came to the  new world during the French Revolution, and until his generation married French, up in the southern part of Massachusetts.  My family is kind of interesting - I can trace my European heritage in this country back to 1624, to Plymouth Colony.  I have 2 or three ancestors who served in the Revolution, I don't recall exactly and I don't have my geneolgy right here right now.  I like to say that my father's family was standing on the beach welcoming my mother's family, as my Native American blood comes from that side.  I am Western Band Cherokee.  Never have lived in Oklahoma, but my dad was born on the Indian Nation and grew up there.  Spent many happy days there visiting my aunts, uncles and grandmother.
